I delve into the complexities of balancing work and life, while also revisiting the past to guide the future, and imagining realms that extend beyond the present.

My art is a dialogue about the diverse facets of existence and identity. I seek to explore and articulate the beauty in the everyday scenes of celebrating and sharing love in moments of connection and closeness.

         My work moves through themes of intimacy, vulnerability, and emotional truth while capturing the spaces between longing and belonging, softness and strength. Through each piece, I aim to translate feeling into form, using color, texture, and symbolism to tell stories that are often felt before they are understood.
Rooted in a deep appreciation for the beauty of everyday emotion, my paintings invite you to slow down and sit with yourself. I am especially drawn to the tenderness within Black experiences such as moments of care, reflection, and resilience that deserve to be seen, honored, and held.
